Caleb.
Caleb first began practicing Yoga in 2012. Before finding Yoga Caleb's mind was marked with anger and hate.
Yet, through the practice of Yoga Caleb found a way to release those toxic emotions and create a vital life succeeded with pure happiness and love.
Caleb first began the practice under the guidance of Chuck Beck. Chuck helped bring value, purpose, and wisdom to the practice for Caleb to seek and find. Caleb was consistently taught - "Question everything. Then question that."
After receiving a DVD titled - 'Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series with David Swenson' Caleb found his structure for Yoga. He practiced six days a week in his living room every morning discovering and understanding The Primary Series.
From there he knew he wanted to spread the gift of Yoga. Caleb applied and received a yoga scholarship for the aid towards a 200 Hour Teacher Training with Yoga Alliance.
In these 200 hours, Caleb learned the anatomy of the body. How to safely assist all types of bodies into one posture, adaptable to their needs. He also learned not just the physical realm of Yoga but also the scriptures and philosophy supporting Yoga.
After creating a loyal following in central Illinois, Caleb decided it was time to move to Colorado. With his time in Colorado Caleb found two teachers that were taught under Sri K Pattabhi Jois - the man who helped bring Ashtanga Vinyasa to the Western World. At the age of 22, Caleb left to Mysore, India to study with R. Sharath Jois - grandson of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. For 11 weeks Caleb lived a strict lifestyle with very little social engagement.
Returning from India, Caleb stopped practicing slowly over time to achieve other life goals. Now, three years later, Caleb has decided it's time to resume the practice and return to sharing the gift of Yoga.
In Caleb's classes, you will be taught to bring the focus of the breath combined with the movement of the body. Allowing a glimpse into the Truth. Caleb will challenge you to go beyond your comfort zone to prepare you for what lies ahead.
"Practice and all is coming."
